Walking with Dinosaurs

Last Saturday, mommy took me and Ben to see some GINORMOUS dinosaur robots (daddy was on-call, so he couldn't go). It was INCREDIBLE!! I thought that the dinos might be real, so I asked my mom if they were still extinct. She said that they were. Then I asked her if maybe they came back down from heaven. She said that they didn't. I was kind of glad about that because some dinosaurs are meat eaters and I DO NOT want to get eaten by a dinosaur.

Happy Easter

Today has been a great day! The fun actually began last night. After Benny's birthday party, Ben and I helped our mom dye Easter eggs. We wrote our names on them and everything! Mommy told us that, when the eggs were dry, the Easter Bunny would come to our house and put some in our Easter baskets and hide the rest for us to find. We were really excited to see Easter again, so Ben and I decided that we were going to stay up all night. Fortunately, mommy reminded us that the Easter Bunny only comes when kids are sleeping. We didn't want to miss out on all of the fun, so Benny and I went right to bed. When we woke up this morning, we ran downstairs and began looking for our baskets. It took us awhile to find them (Easter hid them behind the curtains), but we were really happy when we did. Ben and I both got a Play-doh factory, watch, watering can, movie, flashlight, GI Joe car, and a bunch of candy! I wanted to tell Easter "thank you," but he was already gone. Oh well. I guess I can thank him next year. Happy Easter everyone!!

Ben is Two!!!!

Ben is getting so big! He turned two years old today. We had a birthday party for him. It was AWESOME!! Grandma Cathy, Engen, Grandma Linda, Grandpa Ricky, and Great Grandma Mae all came to celebrate with us. We ate some pizza and cake, and then Benny opened his gifts (I helped him out a little bit). He got a bunch of great stuff! I even got to play with some of his new toys (Ben is a really good sharer). I'm sure glad that Ben had a fun birthday! I hope he likes being two as much as I did.
