Billy Joel and Elton John

Check out the pics mommy took at the Billy Joel/Elton John concert (a.k.a. the best concert EVER).
This guys name is Billy Joel. Apparently, he also refers to himself as "The Piano Man."
Here's to all of the money he's making
This is Elton John. He said goodbye to the yellow brick road and hello to Cleveland, OH.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a GREAT Memorial Day weekend. On Friday, daddy brought home a special surprise for us. It was Grandma Cathy!! She flew all the way from North Dakota just to go to the zoo with me and Benny. Since she was here, she also decided to take in the Billy Joel/Elton John concert with mommy. They had an awesome time and even got upgraded to the first row!! On Sunday, we all decided to go to the pool. Then on Monday, Grandma had to go back to her house. That made me really sad. In an attempt to cheer me up, mommy and daddy took us to the zoo. It worked a little bit, but I still miss Grandma.

2 Week Update

Here's a quick update of the last two weeks.......

We went to the Akron Zoo and were lucky enough to get SUPER close to the lions. I thought it was amazing. Ben wasn't as impressed.
He's baaaaaack!!
I really love to feed the camels. I spend a lot of time running around Australia (that's where they live) looking for delicious leaves.

Here I am getting the camel's grain ready. Mommy said that I'm really lucky, because most kids don't get to do that.

I was really happy to see my buddy, Justin. He came back with the camels, but only got to stay for a little bit. I miss him a lot. Here's a picture of us in our matching zoo hats.

Ben took his first camel ride, of 2009, with me and Justin. He had a great time.
Benny really likes Parker.
This is the picture my mom took when she found Benny sneaking chicken nuggets out of the stroller. It was pretty funny!
Here I am on my new trike. My mom and dad bought it for me because I'm potty trained now. They also got me a helmet. Do I need a helmet to ride a tricycle? No. Did I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want a helmet? Yes.
This is a picture of Ben multi-tasking. I think he was on the phone with his bookie, but I'm not quite sure.

So that's what we've spent the last two weeks doing.

Cleaning the Crocodile Cafe

It was nice outside yesterday, so we decided to go to the zoo. First, we had to eat lunch at McDonalds. We must have been pretty hungry, because I had a small fry, milk, and SEVEN chicken nuggets. Ben ate FIVE chicken nuggets and some juice (mommy said that's a lot for a little kid). After we ate, we went to see the animals. When we had seen all of the zoo animals, we went to the Rainforest. My friend, Trina, was just getting ready to close the Crocodile Cafe and she asked if I would help her. When I was finished cleaning up, some guy offered me a job. I said, "no thanks." I'm too busy being a little kid.
