Our Day in Pictures

Ben slept in today, so mommy and I spent the morning doing crafts. We painted, colored with markers, and decorated paper with stickers.

When Ben woke up, he was hungry. Mommy gave him a piece of pizza. He ate the whole thing. I was really proud of him.

While Ben was eating, I played with my flashlight. I kept wanting to shine it in everybody's eyes, but mommy said "NO." I decided to shine it on the floor instead.

After Ben finished his pizza, we got dressed and went to the Rainforest. When we got there, mommy took us to the Crocodile Cafe to see our friends, Trina and Mary, and to have a snack.

Then, we went to the mall. I was still hungry, so mommy bought me some pretzels.

Once we were back home, I showed Ben and mommy how I can wash my hands by myself.

Then, Ben showed us how to climb the stairs.

It was a pretty good day.

Mom's New Camera

Lake Farm Park

Today, we went to a great place called Lake Farm Park. It's kind of far away, but it was worth the drive. While we were there we got to play with toys, milk a cow, ride a horse, and pet a BUNCH of animals. I had a really good time. Hopefully the next time we go, it's not so rainy.

Easter

Last weekend was really fun!! On Saturday, I got to dye Easter eggs. I had to go to bed as soon as we were done, because mommy said that the Easter Bunny wouldn't come if we were awake. I'm not sure what difference it makes, but I wasn't going to chance it. When I woke up on Sunday, I ran downstairs to look for my Easter basket. First I found Ben's, but mommy said I had to leave it alone so Ben could find it. It didn't take me much longer to find mine. I got a step stool (like Dylan's), sidewalk chalk, a little rocket fan, two movies and a bunch of candy. Benny got a tent, a book, a stuffed chick, some pacifiers, a rocket fan, and a bib. He didn't get any candy, because it's a chocking hazard for him.

Ben's 1st Birthday Party

The first week of April was SUPER busy for us. Daddy had to go to a board review course, in Chicago, so we all decided to go with him. While we were there I played with my cousins, chased Abby (the cat), went swimming, and celebrated Ben's first birthday. It was awesome. Ben's party was pretty fun too. It was at Odyssey Fun World, in Naperivlle. Brean, Dennis, Paige, Katie, John, Dylan, Devin and Grandpa Kim were all there. After we played for awhile, we went back to Auntie Brean's for pizza, cake and gifts. Benny got a lot of great toys. I'm glad he's one now, because that means my birthday comes next. I can't wait!!
