Oldies at the Zoo

It was Senior Citizen Day at the zoo today. Everyone who was 55 or older got in for free, and boy was it busy! I couldn't help but think of Grandma Cathy. Not because I think she's old, but because she could have generated a lot of business!

My Busy Day

We had an awesome day. This morning, we went to the Rainforest. The animals were being crazy! They were coming right up to the window to see us. Later, we went to the mall. I ate chicken nuggets at McDonalds, went in the "funny face" booth (A.K.A. photo booth), rode on the merry-go-round, did the Big Shot (I got a sucker when I was done), and played with a bunch of kids on the tree slide. When we got home, I was SUPER tired. I took a bath, read to daddy, and then ASKED mommy to put me to bed.

Benny's Big Day

Benny got to do a lot of things for the first time today. He rode in the wagon, went in the swing at the park, and went swimming. He had a lot of fun. I could tell because he smiled and laughed a lot.

My Friends

Now that I'm feeling better, I've been able to play with my friends again. We have a lot of fun together. We usually play ball or tag. Sometimes we do sidewalk chalk. I really like my friends.This is me giving Jason the berry that I picked.

A Quick Trip to the Zoo

Mommy and daddy took Benny and me to the zoo yesterday. I was pretty tired, so we didn't stay too long. Long enough for mommy to take a video though! Check it out.......

Health Update

You may have heard that I've been a little under the weather lately. I've had a cold for over three weeks now, and when we got home from Chicago (Sunday) I spiked a temp of 103.1! Mommy took me to the doctor on Tuesday. She said that my throat was red, but I don't have strep (I really didn't appreciate her sticking that long Q-tip thing down my throat). I'm still running a little fever, but it's not too high. Fortunately, I'm still able to play.Playing in a super huge box

Weekend in Chicago

Last weekend, we went to Chicago to celebrate Dylan's 3rd birthday and to meet our new cousin, Devin. It was a REALLY fun time. I got to see grandma Cathy and Engen, Brean, Katie and John, all of my cousins (except Madisen), and Mikey the turtle. As soon as we got there, Dylan and I started playing. He has a ton of good toys! I sure miss everyone and I can't wait to go back.

Quick Recap

Okay, here's a quick recap of the last several days. I went to the zoo on Friday, Saturday and Monday. I might have gone on Sunday too, but I can't remember. Yesterday, we played at home most of the day and then went to the mall. While we were there, some lady from Kiddie Kandids asked mommy if she could take pictures of me and Ben. I didn't really want to have my picture taken but I DID want to play with the toys, so I went along with it. I got a sucker at the end and mommy got free photos. We have to go back tomorrow so the lady can take pictures of Benny. I hope he lets me eat his sucker!

Amazone

I had to get my hair cut today. I HATE getting a haircut. It was worth it though, because I got to go to the Amazone when I was done. For those of you who don't know, the Amazone is an indoor playground and arcade. I had a great time. I went down the huge slides, climbed through the tunnels, and did some other stuff that would take too long to explain. I also got to play games at the arcade. Ben liked it too. He went down the slide for the very first time today. He didn't even cry!!
